Zimbabwe

I flew all the way go Zimbabwe to volunteer at Chipangali Wildlife Orphanage for two weeks during during the summer of 2018. There, volunteers help complete the routine work and chores to keep the orgaphanage running. I learned a lot about the local wildlife and culture of Zimbabwe. I also got to have the once in a lifetime experience of watching a lioness undergo surgery.

NYSTEA

I attended the New York State Theatre Education Association's annual conference. There, I attended five technical theatre workshops taught by professionals in the tech industry. I also got to interact with other tech members across the state to share experiences and exchange ideas.

Middle School Shows

As part of the high school Tech Crew, each year I volunteer to go down to the Middle School to help the kids run their yearly musical. I train and supervise the young tech members to be mic runners, and act as soundboard operator during the show.
